HOTEL INFO (IF YOU WANT IT): There is a block of 20 standard rooms reserved at the Stratosphere for the dates of Friday, April 14 through Sunday, April 16. The rate on the standard rooms is $79.00 per night. However if anyone would like to add a night, the additional rate is $49.00 per extra night. These rooms are the basic standard rooms and are based on double occupancy with the choice of 2 queen beds or 1 king bed. If by chance there are more than 2 people per room, the travel agent advises that you do not mention it as the hotel will charge an additional fee of 15.00 per room per night, unless you don't mind paying the additional--your choice.
These rooms will be reserved until March 31, 2000. If you would like one of the rooms, please call the Stratosphere BEFORE March 31st. When making the reservations, your should call Stratosphere group room reservations at 800-827-1525 between the hours of 7 am to 10 pm PST and reference the Tamblin/Basa Wedding Group. You MUST mention this to guarantee the group rate. You will be required to provide a credit card and the first night will be charged automatically in order to guarantee the room. If by chance, you should need to cancel you should do so within 48 hours of arrival to ensure you are credited for the room. Check in is at 3:00 pm and check out is at 11:00 am. There must be at least 1 person in each room over 21 years of age.
You are free to begin reserving your rooms on Monday, February 21. If for some reason there is a problem with anything please call Kelly Pillor (the travel agent) at (559) 447-5767.
The hotel is doing all they can to reserve these rooms close together for convenience however due to the busy season, you do need to request if you would like your room to be next to anyone in particular. And again the hotel will do all they can to accommodate.
Of course...you are all free to make other hotel accommodations (at the Stratosphere or other hotels). We just reserved these 20 rooms in the Stratosphere for the convenience of being right next door to the Stratosphere Tower (scene of the wedding). Please feel free to make alternative plans, if you so choose.
